The first time Rohan met her, something happened that he didn’t have words for.
Nothing dramatic.
Just his breath came easier.
He didn’t notice it then. He noticed it later, the way you notice a headache only after it’s gone.
The second time, she was late.
Rohan stood outside. November. Cold pavement. The kind of cold that sits in your shoulders without asking permission.
She arrived without apology. Didn’t say anything first.
Just stood beside him.
Rohan’s body understood before he did.
Shoulders dropped.
Jaw which had been tight for reasons he couldn’t name- released.
Breath that had been living in his chest moved down into his stomach.
She hadn’t done anything.
She was just there.
Then there was the other one.
Conference room. Good suit. The right words in the right order.
Everything looked correct.
Five minutes in, Rohan’s hands went cold.
No reason. No argument. No visible threat.
Just …cold.
The man kept talking. Smart things. Impressive things. The kind of things that should have been reassuring.
Rohan’s body wasn’t listening to the words.
It was listening to something underneath them.
Something that wasn’t being said.
After the meeting, Rohan walked outside and took the first full breath he’d had in an hour.
He mentioned it to Vikram once. Not as a complaint. Just as an observation.
“There are people I feel lighter around. And people who make my hands go cold. I can’t explain it.”
Vikram didn’t say anything for a moment.
He turned his tea cup slowly. Didn’t drink. Just turned it.
Then:
“You’re not imagining it.”
“Your body has been doing this your whole life. Reading people. Not their words, their patterns. What emotional state they live in most of the time. What pain they’re still carrying. Whether they want connection or control.”
“Your mind can be fooled by the right words. Your nervous system is harder to fool.”
Rohan was quiet.
“So the cold hands…”
“Data,” Vikram said. “Not anxiety. Not overthinking.”
“Data.”
“The breath that comes easy. The shoulders that drop. The hands that go cold for no reason.”
“Your body has been trying to tell you something about every person you’ve ever met.”
“The only question is whether you were listening.”
Energy. Frequency. Vibration.
Not mystical.
Not abstract.
Just your nervous system, doing what it was built to do.
Reading the room.
Reading the person.
Before your mind has finished forming an opinion.
When you understand someone’s vibration, their intentions become readable.
What it actually means:
Energy — how your body feels in someone’s physical presence. Tight or loose. Contracted or open.
Frequency — the emotional state someone lives in most of the time. Calm. Chaos. Validation-seeking. Anger. This is what you absorb when you spend time with them.
Vibration — the unprocessed pain they are still carrying. Overexplanation. Insecurity. Fear of abandonment. People don’t react to the present moment alone. They react from their history.
When you understand someone’s vibration, their intentions become readable. Not because you’re psychic. Because you’re paying attention to the right signal.
